Service Description

These 2 hour taster sessions are suitable for those 14 years and over. This popular half day workshop is a fun introduction to clay and ideal for beginners or if you can’t commit to regular classes. The session will start with a short demonstration of slab building, how to apply simple surface pattern. Mug , jug or soap dish is a good starting point and is an enjoyable way to help you get used to handling clay. You can also try out some different ways of adding texture and decoration to personalise your work. A great suggestion is to bring along leaves or flowers you can impress.. Once finished, I’ll dry, glaze and fire your pieces, ready to pick up in around 2-3 weeks.
