Service Description

This 2 .5 hours workshop session is suitable for those 15 years and over. During this workshop you'll learn how to make a ceramic jug or vessel using slab rolling technique , where we’ll roll out a perfectly thick piece of clay and you’ll cut it, roll it into the sides of your jug, then attach the base. The clay which can be shaped around a mould to create the body of your jug. The last stage is to join the handle and smooth it. I also have a variety of patterns you can press onto the clay giving a fantastic effect. A great suggestion is to bring along leaves or flowers you can impress.. Once finished, I’ll dry, glaze and fire your pieces, ready to pick up in around 3-4 weeks.
